A family of animal-based tools//Concept//Design//Manufacturing Supervision

Crafting is often a creative exercise, but crafting tools can be serious and dull to children. In an effort to create a family of multi-purpose tools that incorporated animal characters into the product form, story and packaging, OffWhite hoped to appeal to the young and young-at-heart and kickstart more DIY projects.

How it works: The ‘eye’ works as a level, or an angle finder, when the bottom of the product is placed on a flat surface.

How it works: The ‘tongue’ acts as a tape measure when expanded from the ‘beak’.

Packaging allowed for interaction with product, and on-pack storytelling further personified the Handy Famm characters.

Supervised all aspects of packaging concept, sourcing & manufacturing, including corresponding with packaging partners to ensure consistency & quality.
